Now let’s take a look at each of the printable Christmas games we’ve got for you:

Free Printable Christmas Bingo

Bingo is always such a hit for kids!

The free printable Christmas bingo set in our free Printable Library contains 6 different full-size bingo cards, as well as a page of small calling cards to cut out and use.

You’ll also need some type of bingo marker. We love these reusable, colorful bingo markers! They’re transparent, so you can easily check over a little one’s bingo card to make sure they’ve covered the correct pictures!

Here are some more great ideas for bingo chips or markers:

  • small pieces of Christmas candy, such as M&Ms or peppermints
  • bits of colored paper
  • small LEGO pieces
  • raisins
  • peanuts
  • chocolate chips

When you play this version, be sure to be really specific about each item that you call out!

Instead of just saying “Christmas tree,” you’ll want to say “Christmas tree with red ornaments and red gifts underneath.” This will really help your kids’ listening skills and sharpen their focus!

One of our favorite things about these bingo cards is that they’re full-size, and they’re easily reusable! (If you choose to laminate them, they could last for years and years!)

Free Christmas I Spy Game

There are several different versions of I Spy games out there, but we really like this one that’s especially fun for younger-elementary aged kids.

Kids who can count and write can fill in the chart at the bottom. (Yep, we’ve included an answer sheet!)

For really young kids, you can print this out and put it in a plastic page protector. Then pull it out for your kiddo when you’re stuck in line while Christmas shopping, or anywhere that you might need a quick diversion!

Instead of having your kids count, you can play traditional I Spy by saying “I spy with my little eye, something that is _____.” You may add size descriptors as well to help your kids figure out which item you’re spying!

Also, if you’re looking for more great Christmas printables for young kids, be sure to head over to Troubleshooting Motherhood to get some great free Christmas coloring pages! There are eight different cute coloring sheets available!

Christmas Scattergories Free Printable

If you’ve ever played Scattergories before, you know it is a ton of fun to play with kids!

This free printable Christmas game is for kids who can read and write quickly, about 2nd grade or older.

It’s a really fun game that can help kids build their vocabulary skills and think independently.

To play Christmas Scattergories, you’ll need one printed-out page and a pencil or pen per player.

With this Christmas Scattergories printable, there will be four different rounds of the game.

For example, a girl’s name that starts with “N” could be Natalia, Naomi, or Natasha.

In the first round, players will need to think of a word that starts with the letter “N” for each of the categories that are listed.

You’ll definitely want to set a time limit for each round. One to two minutes should be enough.

When the time is up, everyone takes turns comparing their lists.

If more than one person has written the same answer, they don’t get a point for their word, so it’s a great idea for players to be unique and original!

Finally, players can get bonus points by using an adjective that also begins with the same letter in their answer.

For example, an elf’s name that starts with “N,” Naughty Nicky or Nice Nancy could each be worth two points (as long as no one else thinks of them!).

Once the “N” round is completed, it’s time to move on to the “O” round and so on until the last round of words that will begin with “L.”

Christmas Carol Games

These super-fun free Christmas Carol games are great for a group of older kids, ages 8 and up.

The two printable Christmas carol games are Christmas Carol Anagrams and Christmas Carol Synonyms.

Christmas Carol Anagrams

So what is an anagram? It’s basically just a fancy word for making a new word or phrase out of the letters in another word.

For example, “The Thorniest Elf” is an anagram for the Christmas carol, “The First Noel.”

These are definitely challenging, but once you get a few, you’ll start to get the hang of it.

And don’t worry, there’s an answer sheet provided!

Christmas Carol Synonyms

This fun game is great for a group of older kids, ages middle school and above.

You can have kids divide into groups or teams, play as one big group, or print out a page for each kid.

For each question, there’s a ridiculous-sounding title of a well-known Christmas carol or song, full of fancy adjectives and elevated synonyms.

For example, “Subarctic Dear with a Crimson Proboscis” is simply “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer!”

Fun, huh?!

Free Christmas Word Searches

There are two versions of these free Christmas word search printables for kids: one for older kids and one for younger kids.

Words can go up, down, diagonal, backward, and forwards.

In the printable Christmas word search for older kids, the grid is much more condensed and has a lot more letters.

Additionally, there are 17 words to find instead of 9 words, as in the younger kids’ Christmas word search.

Christmas Mazes

Similar to the Christmas word searches, these printable Christmas mazes are also based on difficulty.

With these three free Christmas maze printables, you’ll get an easy, medium, and difficult maze, so there will be something for kids of all ages!

Free Christmas Word Unscramble

The free Christmas word unscramble is actually easier than it looks!
